The original (non-glowing) edition was one of the first two Blacksmith Press projects, created for the 2021 “Fake Gig Posters” exhibition at Gallery1988 in Los Angeles. It SOLD OUT immediately! Still in demand, we came up with this new and improved GLOW-IN-THE-DARK variant!

This print is the artist's imagining of Captain Quint as he may have been and as we never knew him. He was certainly a hardened, somewhat unhinged shark-hunter, but he also was a bit of an entertainer. Songs and limericks were his stock-in-trade. Maybe on occasion he sang and spun tales of fish and fist-fights at the local watering holes.
